What data we process, and why
We process the data you provide when contacting us (name, phone, email, property address and job description) in order to prepare and manage quotes and deliver the contracted service. The legal basis is pre-contractual measures taken at your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
If you contact us via WhatsApp, WhatsApp/Meta’s processing of your data is governed by their own privacy policy.
Source measurement (cookieless)
To know which channel our clients find us through (e.g. Google search, our Google Business profile, or an ad), the website stores a source label (e.g. google-organic) in your browser using sessionStorage: first-party, session-only storage that is deleted when you close the tab, uses no cookies, does not identify you, and is never shared with third parties. If you contact us via WhatsApp or the form, that label is appended to your message (the “Ref:” line) so we know how you found us.
Cookies and similar technologies
By default, this website sets no cookies. Only if you interact with our consent banner and accept a purpose will the corresponding technologies activate:

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the banner itself (cookie-preferences link in the footer once the banner is active) or by clearing your browser cookies.
International transfers: Google and Meta may process data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. Analytics (PostHog) is hosted in the EU.
The website also uses Cloudflare’s cookieless performance measurement (Web Analytics), which uses no personal identifiers and requires no consent.
Retention
Data from quotes that are not accepted is kept for a maximum of 12 months. Client data is kept for the duration of the relationship and the legal limitation periods (tax and warranty). Analytics data is kept in aggregate form.
Who we share your data with
We do not share data with third parties except under legal obligation and as described in the cookies section (only with your consent). Our technology providers (web hosting, email, analytics) act as data processors under GDPR guarantees. Quote requests sent through the form are logged in a Google spreadsheet (Google acts as a data processor).
Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to contacto@aletopintores.com with an identifying document. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
Changes to this policy
If we adopt new tools that process personal data, we will update this policy and, where applicable, the consent banner before activating them. Last updated: see the date at the top of this page.
