A painting contractor architects can put their name behind

Updated:

We execute painting and finishes for architecture and interior design studios in Madrid with strict fidelity to the spec: colour, sheen and surface flatness verified under raking light, samples applied on-site before execution, coordination with the other trades, and deadlines that hold. Your project reaches handover the way you designed it.

The problem we solve for studios

An interiors project lives or dies in the finishes: the exact colour, the prescribed sheen, a wall that the LED strip doesn’t betray. Too often the weak link is execution — the contractor who “interprets” the colour, flattens the sheen, or delivers late and leaves the studio explaining itself to its client. Our job is making sure that never happens: we execute what’s specified, as specified, when committed. And when we spot a technical problem in the spec — a substrate needing a different primer, a sheen that will flash — we raise it with the studio before executing, not after.

Samples and sign-off before execution

No aesthetic decision gets made from a catalogue. We apply real samples of the specified colour and sheen on the project’s actual substrate — not on card — and validate them with the studio under the space’s real light, natural and artificial. On sensitive projects we prepare larger sample panels per room. It’s an hour of work that prevents the most expensive conversation in any project: the repaint after handover.

Site coordination and deadlines that hold

We join the general programme and work with the other trades, not against them: sequencing agreed with carpentry and installations, protection of work already executed, and real flexibility when the site needs it. Committed deadlines are signed — we know our delay is everyone’s delay. The studio gets one site contact, photo progress reports, and zero surprises at the site inspection.

Documentation without chasing

Datasheets for every applied system, liability insurance, H&S paperwork where the project direction requires it, invoice and written warranty. The admin side arrives complete and unprompted — a contractor without papers isn’t a contractor a serious studio can approve.

How to start working together

First collaborations usually start with a small project — an apartment, a retail unit — where the standard can be verified without risk. Write to us with the project on the table and we’ll return an itemised quote aligned with the spec document, with real lead times. Our base prices are published; singular specifications are quoted against the memoria. Full service available in English, including contracts.

Frequently asked questions

How do you guarantee colour and finish fidelity to the spec?

With a prior sample, always: we apply the specified colour (NCS, RAL or manufacturer reference) on the project's real substrate, in the prescribed sheen, and don't execute until studio and client validate it in situ under the space's actual light. Metamerism and sheen surprises get discovered in the sample, not at handover.

What flatness standard do you work to on skimmed walls?

Raking-light and straightedge verification on every smoothed surface. Where the design includes wall-washing or LED strips we treat flatness as a critical requirement from the quote onwards — that light forgives nothing.

Do you coordinate with the other trades?

Yes, it's part of the service: we slot into the general programme, agree sequencing with carpentry, electrics and lighting, and protect work already executed by others. The studio gets a single site contact and photo progress reports.

What documentation do you provide?

Technical datasheets for every system applied, liability insurance certificate, H&S documentation if the project direction requires it, VAT invoice and written warranty — delivered before you have to chase them.

Do you commit to fixed site deadlines?

Yes, in writing. We know our delay is the whole handover's delay, and that the studio answers to its client. If a deadline comes under pressure from causes beyond us (drying times, other trades), the studio hears it from us early — not on delivery day.

Do you execute specialty finishes?

Spray and fine-roller lacquering, enamels on joinery and metal, mineral effects and wallpaper on prepared substrates. If the project specifies a particular manufacturer system, we execute to its datasheet — or say honestly when something is outside our ground.
